Island Hopping With A ManaOla Island Hopper

The new Hawai’i local brand, ManaOla has been consistently impressing me with their contemporary Hawaiian style. The first item I’ve ever seen was a pair of beautiful earrings that were carved with traditional Hawaiian designs mimicking that of ‘ohe kapala sticks. ‘Ohe kapala sticks are bamboo which were carved to create a stamp which was used to create repetitious patterns. Many of the designs by ManaOla are inspired by the ‘ohe kapala designs. Since their first release, they have been putting out more fashion and accessories becoming an island favorite.  It’s exciting to know that ManaOla currently has a pop up shop located in Ala Moana Mall. I’ll be looking out for their newest products in the store or from their Instagram. For updates and information follow ManaOla on Instagram @manaolahawaii or log on to their website at http://www.manaolahawaii.com.
