Wehiwa hat I bought at last year’s Made In Hawaii Festival.

I absolutely adore this annual event held at the Neal S. Blasedell center. There are hundreds of vendors selling food, crafts, fashion, plants, art and more. Be ready with your wallet, because if you’re like me, you’ll be walking out with tons of shopping bags of cute things!

This three day showcase really is special to show the island all of Hawaii’s talented people. From skilled artisans to amazing chefs to talented musicians. It’s such a great event to support local and maybe even become inspired to start your own local business.

What is a festival without music? This event has an amazing line up of local musicians. I would pay well over $6.00 just to hear one of these amazing musicians perform. Natalie Ai Kamau’u, Jerry Santos, Raiatea Helm and so much more!

Also, for all you foodies, Culinary demonstrations from some of Hawaii’s amazing chefs will be in full effect throughout the event.

Last year, I posted about these cute bags called A Maui Day. I’m so excited to hear that they’ll be back this year!

Samples!! All the food booths want you to taste their amazing treats! You will want to take home a bunch of goodies!

So, If you happen to be on Oahu, make your way to the Made in Hawaii Festival! Just a little warning, the event does get quite crowded. Give yourself a good amount of time!
